At the Arkansas State University Small Business and Technology Development Center we know how important it is for small businesses and entrepreneurs to keep their “Competitive Edge” sharpened!

We provide over 60 live seminars each year in our 15 county area on a variety of business topics including:

methods. Both live and online business seminars are available to small businesses. In addition to our Jonesboro site we offer monthly workshops in Batesville and Mountain Home as well as ongoing seminars in Walnut Ridge, Newport, Paragould and Wynne. The ASU SBTDC and our state office also offer a wide variety of Internet training through regularly scheduled webinars as well as 20 On-Line Courses through our SmallBizU site that can be down loaded and watched ON YOUR SCHEDULE. Our 20 On-Line courses focus on the 3Ms: Money, Marketing & Management. Registration and Fees
Seminar fees may be paid by check, cash, money order, or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or Discover). Payment must be received before your space is guaranteed in a class. Fees must be remitted no later than two working days before the actual seminar date unless otherwise stated. Payments must be made to the ASU Cashier’s office for all seminars. Contact the ASU SBTDC (870) 972-3517 to register and for instructions to submit payment.
Refund Policy
Refunds are available on cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to the seminar. If a 48-hour cancellation is not received, seminar credit can be applied to another ASU SBTDC seminar within the current calendar year. If the ASU SBTDC cancels a seminar, notification will be sent to registrants by e-mail, and refunds will be issued. Substitutes are welcome.
Inclement Weather
Seminars will not be held if ASU is closed due to inclement weather. Check your local television or radio stations for school closings.
ADA:
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance. Free and Discounted Fees
Excludes QuickBooks, Technology, and Online Seminars
Subject to space availability, faculty, staff and students of ASU (including Mountain Home) may attend seminars at a reduced charge unless the ASU SBTDC is co-sponsoring the event with another group which is retaining all fees and is responsible for all costs of the event. The center director must approve any additional discounts.
