A number of area restaurant owners come to some of our online marketing workshops recently to see if social media can actually work for them. Since many of our food service friends are just sticking their toes in the water, I thought it would be helpful to provide some basic resources to help them learn about integrating online marketing into their local businesses.
Local businesses, especially those in the accommodation and food service businesses are naturals when it comes to social media marketing. Local search is generally geared to these types of businesses and having an effective online presence can definitely set them apart from the competition.
